Our holiday accommodations are ideally located to enjoy the riches of the island. You can discover the white or black sand beaches, the turquoise lagoons, the waterfalls and the majestic cirques. You can also practice many sports activities nearby within a radius of 25 kilometers: hiking, paragliding, diving, surfing and kitesurfing, kayaking, golf, mountain biking...
For lovers of mountain hiking, Reunion Island is a favorite place, the island has more than 1000 km of trails for hikers of all levels. From our rentals, you will for example reach the summit of Piton Maïdo then descend to the cirque of Mafate to discover no less than 7 hikes in this cirque. If you like thrills, you will not be disappointed by the sporting activities that you can practice near our vacation rental near Saint-Gilles-Les-Bains .
Here are some examples:
- Hiking : you can explore the trails that crisscross the island and discover varied and breathtaking landscapes. Whether in the cirques of Mafate, Cilaos or Salazie , on the Piton de la Fournaise volcano or on the summits of Piton des Neiges or Grand Bénare , you will definitely find a hike adapted to your level and your desires.
- Paragliding : you can fly over the island and admire its beauty from the sky. Several sites are possible for take-off: Maïdo, Saint-Leu, Colimaçons, Avirons... You can choose between a discovery flight, a sensation flight or an educational flight with a qualified instructor.
- Scuba diving : you can explore the seabed and observe the underwater flora and fauna. You can dive in the coral reefs , visit wrecks, caves or drop-offs. You can also meet turtles, dolphins, whales depending on the season and the chosen site.
- Surfing and kitesurfing : you can enjoy the waves of the Indian Ocean and learn or improve your skills in these board sports. You can surf on the famous spots of Saint-Leu, Saint-Gilles, Trois-Bassins or Etang-Salé or on the St-Pierre side. You can also take lessons with approved surf schools.
- Kayaking : you can sail and discover the coastal landscapes. You can go sea kayaking in the lagoon or along the cliffs. You can also go river kayaking in the gorges of the Marsouins River in the east of the island or the Langevin River in the south of Reunion.
- Golf : You can practice your swing on the island's golf courses. You can play on the Bassin Bleu golf course in Saint-Gilles-Les-Hauts a few minutes from our vacation rental in St-Paul, the Colorado golf course in La Montagne, the Bourbon golf course in Etang-Salé.
- Cycling : you can cycle on the roads or cycle paths of the island, especially in the west of Reunion along the coast of Cap Lahoussaye with a magnificent view of the Indian Ocean but also a view of the savannah. You can also go mountain biking on the trails of Maïdo as well as venture into this savannah.
